· Demonstrable SQL Server Architecture knowledge

· Proven ability to drive results
n
· SQL Server Availability Group experience, including design, build, and support
n
· SQL Server Mirroring, Log Shipping, and Replication including build, design, and support
n
· SQL Server Database Security
n
· Experience with SQL Server database migrations, including on-premises and to the public cloud
n
· SQLServer databases hosted on public clouds (Azure, AWS, Google)
n
· Experience with Azure SQL Server Managed Instance and SQL Database
n
· Experience with AWS SQL Server RDS
n
· Understanding of Managed Service and related products and the supporting technologies
n
· Understanding of core ITIL processes
n
· TSQL, Powe rshell scripting, general scripting proficiency
n
· System Administration skills, including storage and network
n




· Ability to prioritise tasks and exhibit a logical approach to problem resolution
n
· Experience with SQL Server Performance Tuning
n
· Experience with SQL Server workload optimisation
n
· Well-developed analytical and diagnostic skills
n
· Proven ability to work as part of a team
n
· Able to operate and be available 24x7
n

Highly desirable

· Azure, AWS Cloud Certifications
n
· SQL Server Certified, SQL Server **** and above
n
· Storage systems such as NetApp and EMC
n
· ITIL Certification
n
· Networking experience (LAN, WAN)

· Demonstrated understanding of cloud solutions and APIs

Experience working in an Agile setting
