Our Property Operations team have an opportunity for an experienced
Manager - Refurbishment Projects
to lead a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, restoration and property improvement projects across our Retirement Villages.
This is a hands‐on project management role where you'll oversee works from initial scope and contractor engagement through to completion and handover. No two days are the same, with projects ranging from Independent Living Unit restorations and upgrades to minor capital works and property improvement initiatives.
Permanent full‐time employment, based at our West Perth office with regular travel to the locations you support.
Flexible working arrangements available, including the opportunity to work from home. We work a minimum of 3 days in the office or on site per week.
Reporting to the Manager Property Operations, you will:
Manage refurbishment, restoration and make‐good projects across Bethanie's Retirement Living portfolio
Scope, procure and oversee contractors, consultants and suppliers to deliver quality project outcomes
Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, variations and stakeholder communications
Coordinate minor capital works, repairs, upgrades and improvement projects across Retirement Living sites
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with Bethanie standards and legislative requirements
Build positive relationships with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
About You




You're an organised and commercially minded project professional who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion. You'll bring:
Demonstrated experience delivering refurbishment, construction, facilities, capital works or property improvement projects
Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Sound financial, planning and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and ability to work autonomously
Experience managing building contracts and procurement processes
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Experience within property, facilities, retirement living, aged care or construction environments
Qualification in Project Management, Construction, Property or a related field
