The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of
Water and Sewerage Network Operations Worker
. This position plays a key role in the construction, maintenance, inspection, and repair of water supply and sewerage infrastructure - ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining, repairing, and installing water mains, sewer lines, valves, hydrants, and associated infrastructure.
Responding to emergency incidents such as water main breaks and sewer overflows.
Conducting inspections using diagnostic tools.
Performing pipe laying, excavation, trenching, and site reinstatement work.
Operating and maintaining pumps, jetting trucks,
backhoes, and other machinery.
Reading and interpreting utility maps, engineering plans, and work orders.
Accurately documenting work performed and asset conditions.
Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and public health standards.
Engaging professionally with supervisors, contractors, and the community.
Operational Accountabilities:
Complete assigned maintenance, repair, and installation tasks within designated timeframes and quality standards.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHS (Work Health and Safety), environmental, and public health regulations and procedures.
Respond promptly to network failures or incidents, minimizing disruption to services and ensuring community safety.
Class MR driver's licence (or willing to obtain)
General Construction card (White card)
Low voltage certificate (or willing to obtain)
Working at Heights certificate (or willing to obtain)
Working in Confined Space Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Demonstrated experience in fabrications, repairs, maintenance of pumps and servicing of pipes and mains
