OVERVIEW Velocity Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an Education Consultant for a senior, client-facing position focused on education and migration services. The role involves guiding students and clients through education pathways and visa applications while working closely with Migration Agents and lawyers. This opportunity suits professionals with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience managing multiple client files and deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Respond to education and visa enquiries and advise clients on suitable courses and institutions.
Manage student portfolios and support clients through the full application process.
Prepare application documents, including transcripts, references, and personal statements.
Liaise with schools, colleges, and institutional partners.
Support client consultations alongside Senior Migration Agents and Migration Lawyers.
Convert warm leads.
Brief consultants ahead of appointments and follow up on actions afterwards.
Act as a key point of contact between clients and the legal and migration team.
Support clients on visa requirements, documentation, and deadlines under the supervision of RMAs and lawyers.
Monitor progress and keep clients informed while maintaining up-to-date files.
Requirements
2+ years experience in a Visa Coordinator or Education Consultant role.




Strong and current knowledge of courses, institutions, and education pathways.
Working knowledge of Australian visa and international student visa processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
Registered Migration Agent (RMA) registration, or working towards it, is desirable.
Previous experience in a migration or education agency is desirable.
Experience with CRM or student and client management systems is desirable.
