Job Description Develop and implement a Mining Minerals Market sales plan aligned with Regional, GeoMarket, and Global strategic objectives.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the mining and minerals sector across the Kalgoorlie and Central Goldfields region.
Execute sales strategies that achieve and exceed annual sales, profitability, and market growth targets.
Grow market share by expanding existing customer relationships and converting recent opportunities into sustainable business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, consultants, EPCM firms, and key decision-makers.
Provide technical expertise and consultative support to customers, delivering solutions that address operational and business challenges.
Collaborate with sales, product, service, and application teams to deliver value-added solutions and maximize customer outcomes.
Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers to increase engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
Support regional and global growth initiatives through customer engagement, market intelligence, and strategic business development activities.
Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasting, market analysis, and performance reporting.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications Proven sales and business development experience within the Mining Minerals industry, preferably servicing gold, Nickel, Lithium, Rare Earth's,
and mineral processing operations.
Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
Strong technical sales background with the ability to provide consultative solutions to mining, processing, and industrial customers.
Experience developing and executing territory, market, or strategic account plans that deliver measurable sales growth and market share gains.
Established network and understanding of the Kalgoorlie, Goldfields, and broader Western Australian mining market.
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging mine operators, engineering consultants, EPCM contractors, procurement teams, and senior operational leaders.
Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, CRM systems, and business performance reporting.
Ability to analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, service, operations, and product management, to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and profitability targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A degree or qualification in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining,
Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline is highly desirable.
