Today we're one of WA's most respected disability serviceproviders, and we're looking for an experienced leader to take the reins of ourSupported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation services and help shape whatcontemporary, person-centred support looks like.
This isn't a desk job with adisability label on it.
It's a genuinely hands-on leadership role where thedecisions you make, the culture you build, and the standards you hold your teamto directly shape the everyday lives of the people we support.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Chief OperatingOfficer, you'll lead and support a team of Residential Service Managers acrossour SIL homes, driving operational, financial and quality performance whilechampioning a culture of genuine choice, dignity and independence for everyparticipant.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Leadingwith purpose - coaching, supervising and developing a team of ResidentialService Managers to deliver consistently excellent, person-centredsupport.
Drivingquality and compliance - keeping Nulsen ahead of the curve on NDISPractice Standards, Positive Behaviour Support and restrictive practicesrequirements.
Owningoperational performance - managing budgets, rosters and resourcing acrossmultiple SIL homes to ensure sustainable, high-quality service delivery.
Championingcontemporary practice - helping evolve our accommodation model towardgreater individual choice and control, including Individualised LivingOptions.
Buildinggenuine relationships - partnering with participants, families, the NDIAand other stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver on what matters mostto the people we support.
Beinga trusted advisor - providing the Chief Operating Officer with high-leveladvice, reporting and support on strategic projects.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Provenexperience leading teams in a complex, multi-site service environment -disability or human services experience highly regarded.
Soundworking knowledge of the NDIS, the NDIS Quality and SafeguardsCommission, and contemporary Positive Behaviour Support / restrictivepractices frameworks.
Agenuine commitment to human rights-based, person-centred practice - youbelieve in choice and control, not just compliance.
Strongfinancial and operational management skills, with the judgement to managecompeting priorities under pressure.
Excellentrelationship-building skills - you can influence, negotiate and navigatedifficult conversations with empathy.
Acurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one),National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and driver'slicence.
