Job Description What You'll Be Doing: We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join our small legal team on a 12 month contract basis (parental leave cover).
You will work on a variety of matters to provide legal support to the Supply Chain, Procurement and IT functions, including assisting with tenders, contracts, disputes and related legal advice , and in particular over the next 12 months, the digital transformation project team.
Additional and broader work is also shared amongst the legal team as needs arise, including marketing, compliance and regulatory advice.
You will also be responsible for company secretarial work , including managing regulatory filings, the corporate register and records, and overseas agents, as well as coordinating and uploading packs for executive and board meetings, maintaining directors duties training content, and coordinating corporate restructures (eg deregistrations and business transfers) in consultation with the Finance team.
This is a full time role based in our Clayton Vic office, but with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week.

What We're Looking for: A degree in law and at least 3-4 years post qualification experience in a law firm (or law firm plus corporate).
Some company secretariat experience would be valued but is not essential.
Training can be provided.
Ability to provide high quality, results-oriented, commercially-focused and strategic legal advice.
