I'm recruiting for an established small animal hospital in Mudgeeraba.
They're looking for a GP vet who enjoys surgery, values a thorough work-up and wants to be part of a genuinely collaborative team.
What's on Offer?
Four-day week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 am-6 pm
1 in 4 Saturdays, 8 am-1 pm
No after-hours or on-call work; closed on public holidays
4-5 vets working together each day, supported by eight nurses
An established client base with solid pet insurance and wellness plan uptake
Time for team rounds, case discussions and client follow-up
The Clinic
This is a busy, well-regarded practice on the edge of the Gold Coast hinterland.
Alongside everyday GP work, the location brings a varied caseload, including urgent care, tick and snake cases.
The team has interests across surgery,



internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology and integrative medicine.
There's a visiting orthopaedic surgeon, strong referral relationships and a Lead Vet who enjoys mentoring.
The hospital has digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, an in-house lab, dental equipment and a dedicated theatre.
They use ezyVet.
The Role
You'll see a mix of medicine and surgery, with a particular need for someone confident in routine soft tissue procedures.
Ultrasound experience would be a bonus.
About You
You'll ideally have around 3-5 years' small animal experience, strong client communication skills and an approach that fits a team that shares cases and helps each other out.
