About the Facility A private, mission-based hospital in Hobart, Tasmania, providing perioperative and surgical services across a range of specialties, with a genuine care-focused culture.
The Role Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work within the perioperative team across anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout duties, spanning a range of surgical specialties.
In this role, you will: Provide anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout support across a range of surgical specialties Prepare and maintain instrumentation and equipment for theatre lists Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures Support the surgical team through the full case Apply ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements throughout theatre practice Escalate patient safety concerns as they arise What You Will Bring Current AHPRA registration/practising certificate as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated anaesthetics/recovery and/or scrub/scout experience in an operating theatre environment Strong knowledge of ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work within, and contribute positively to,
