About the Role
Are you an emerging leader who enjoys balancing people, customers and operations? We're looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of our Trench Safety division. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll help drive sales growth, operational excellence, safety performance and customer satisfaction, while developing a high-performing team and stepping up to lead the branch when required.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the day-to-day management of branch operations, profitability and customer service.
Working with the Sales team to grow existing accounts and win new business.
Building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service.
Coaching, developing and supporting team members to achieve success.
Managing customer enquiries, quotations, equipment hires and sales opportunities.
Overseeing workshop, yard and fleet operations to maximise efficiency and utilisation.
Monitoring branch performance, reporting and inventory management.
Championing a strong safety culture through compliance, training and continuous improvement.
Acting as Branch Manager in their absence.
What We're Looking For
Leadership or supervisory experience in a branch, operations, service, rental, construction, industrial or related environment.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Commercial acumen with the ability to support sales and operational performance.
Experience coaching, engaging and developing teams.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Equipment rental industry experience highly regarded.
