Our client requires a Survey Manager, to play a pivotal role in overseeing all surveying operations and ensuring successful project delivery for civil and construction clients. This full time position offers the chance to utilise your strong technical expertise and leadership skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the client
Is a leading provider of high-quality surveying services to the civil and construction industry who is seeking to establish a base on the Sunshine Coast with a focus on the involvement and delivery of Olympic related infrastructure in time for the **** Games.
What you'll be doing
Manage a team of surveyors and technical staff to deliver high-quality surveying services
Oversee the planning, scheduling and coordination of all survey projects
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and health and safety requirements
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice




Prepare detailed survey reports and documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions
What we're looking for
Registered Surveyor with SBQ
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Surveyor
A willingness to lead a small team, with the requirement to be a 'hands-on' manager- especially in relation to cadastral and land development projects. This is not solely an office based role!
Excellent project management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong skills with 12d Software
An individual who wants the chance to grow the business and develop junior team members
This role is well suited to someone with prior experience in a Private Survey Practice, with the ability to simultaneously coordinate and manage multiple projects and clients.
