We're looking for an organised and proactive
Scheduling Coordinator
to play a key role in connecting our participants with exceptional support workers while helping our workforce thrive.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective scheduling, rostering, and training compliance of our Disability Support Workers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating workforce availability, maintain training records, supporting staff induction processes, and ensuring service delivery requirements are met across the organisation.
About the role
As the Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating and implementing the organisation's scheduling and rostering functions.
Managing Disability Support Worker availability and workforce allocation.
Assisting with Disability Support Worker inductions and onboarding processes.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the organisation's training database.
Coordinating and monitoring mandatory and role-specific training requirements.
Identifying training gaps and supporting compliance with organisational requirements.
Preparing and providing monthly workforce and training reports.
Participating in the after-hours on-call roster that is shared within the team. Weekdays Mon-Friday 5PM-9AM & Weekends 5PM-9AM Fri-Sunday.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for supporting people with disability and process strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience in scheduling within the disability sector.
Experience in workforce scheduling and rostering.
Ability to manage competing priorities and complex workloads.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and disability services environment.
Experience coordinating, monitoring, or managing training programs.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness and ability to participate in the after-hours on-call roster
Tertiary qualification (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree) in Human Services, Business Administration, Workforce Planning, or a related field.
Experience using
Datanova Flow Logic
software.
