About the role
Help build the systems and processes behind the next stage of our business.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will drive company-wide improvements that make work simpler, more reliable and more accountable.
Working alongside our people, you will identify bottlenecks, improve departmental handovers and turn ideas into practical, lasting change. Your remit spans Sales, Operations, Vehicle Delivery, Aftersales, Parts, Finance, Administration, People, Safety and Quality.
You will take improvements from investigation through implementation, training and measurement. Functional managers retain ownership of their teams and results; you will help build the systems that support consistent performance.
Key responsibilities
Improve the customer journey from enquiry and quotation through to vehicle delivery and ongoing support.
Establish clear workflows, approvals and departmental handovers, with defined owners, next actions and due dates.
Strengthen workshop planning, customer case management, warranty recovery, parts and inventory processes.
Simplify purchasing, cost approvals, administration and document management.
Improve adoption and use of Salesforce, Blackpurl, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, reducing duplicate entry and manual work.
Introduce practical automation, useful dashboards and KPIs, and operating standards aligned with ISO **** principles.
Investigate recurring problems, implement corrective actions and train teams to embed lasting improvements.
About you




You have a track record of implementing improvements that deliver measurable commercial, customer or productivity outcomes.
You bring:
The ability to turn complex processes into clear, practical workflows.
Solid systems and data skills, commercial judgement and disciplined follow-through.
Confidence working with frontline teams, functional managers and an owner-led leadership team.
The ability to influence across departments, challenge respectfully and support people through change.
Your background may include business improvement, transformation, operational excellence, business systems, business analysis, project management or quality.
Experience in automotive, transport, manufacturing, logistics, equipment, distribution or a multi-site service business would be valuable. Bus-industry experience is welcome but not essential.
