Key Responsibilities
Prepare materials for sampling and mixing chemicals for restoration jobs involving mould, water, fire, odour, crime scenes, hoarding, squalor, and biohazardous materials.
Conduct and collect field tests samples and analyses, ensuring accurate results at on-site and off-site facilities, vehicles, and properties in line with company policies and customer requirements.
Present results through detailed reports.
Control the quality and quantity of restoration supplies by testing samples and monitoring usage.
Participate in internal risk assessments,
toolbox meetings, and ongoing training and development.
Check, calibrate, and maintain test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in the test and tag and maintenance of equipment to maintain high safety and meet critical standards.
Key Requirements
At least
Diploma/Bachelor's degree
level of education qualification or equivalent work experience.
Physical fitness
to handle the demanding nature of both laboratory and cleaning/restoration tasks.
A
robust attention to detail
with the ability to follow procedures and meet critical standards.
Excellent
communication skills
(both written and verbal) for reporting results and collaborating with team members and customers.
Hold a
valid Australian driver's licence
(manual preferred).
Must have or be able to obtain a
construction white card
Ability to provide a
Police Clearance
and
Blue Card
.
Current Hepatitis A & B
and
Tetanus immunisatio
n (or willingness to get vaccinated).
Experience in
field work
including mould, water, fire, odour, biohazard restoration jobs.
IICRC accreditation
(preferred, training available).
