The Prospect - Head of Retail

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a strategic, commercially driven executive to lead and grow their brand portfolio, multi-site retail network, and in-house marketing engine with 5 Direct Reports.

Reporting directly to the General Manager and Managing Director, you will hold total ownership over customer acquisition, brand positioning, sales growth, and marketing performance across Western Australia and South Australia.

With operational delivery and site-level management led by a dedicated Operations Manager, this senior executive role allows you to focus on high-level growth strategy, B2B industry partnerships, brand equity, and commercial return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Commercial Leadership: Formulate and execute the overarching sales and growth strategy across brand portfolios, 10+ WA showrooms/display centres, and the South Australian market.

- In-House Marketing Engine: Direct and mentor an internal team of content, digital, web, and design specialists, while managing external media, PR, and production partners.

- Strategic B2B Partnerships: Secure strategic alliances, referral pipelines, and commercial opportunities with property developers, volume builders, and land developers.





- Campaign & Promotional Offer Strategy: Drive integrated marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives across digital, social, and physical network channels.

- Commercial P&L; & Analytics: Manage cross-departmental sales and marketing budgets, ensuring clear ROAS, lead conversion, and margin accountability.

- Cross-Functional Executive Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development to align market demand with operational throughput.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: 10+ years of senior sales and/or marketing leadership in consumer durables, home improvement, building materials, prefabricated products, or large-scale project sectors.

- Marketing & Commercial Acumen: Proven success running integrated marketing functions, managing significant advertising budgets, and leveraging data to drive sales.

- Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related commercial discipline is preferred.

- Licence: Valid Driver's Licence (role is based in Jandakot with monthly network visits and occasional interstate travel).

- Leadership Capability: High-level strategic vision, exceptional stakeholder management,



strong negotiation skills, and a track record of driving cross-functional team success.
