About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, in collaboration with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate optimal health outcomes for the recipients of healthcare services and undertake delegated activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Apply your cardiac nursing expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a specialised and supportive clinical environment.
- Utilise advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills while caring for patients undergoing complex cardiac investigations and procedures.
- Educate and empower patients and their families, supporting positive health outcomes and greater independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, effective and coordinated cardiac care.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, professional development and evidence-based practice.




- Drive quality improvement initiatives and best-practice care to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
