Warwick Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its Midwifery Group Practice on a contract basis. This is a four-week placement running from 12 October to 8 November 2026, offering an chance to work within a caseload midwifery model in Warwick, Queensland. Working up to 80 hours per fortnight, the successful candidate will provide continuity of care to women and families, with on-call responsibilities as part of the role.

- Deliver woman-centred care within a caseload midwifery model, building meaningful relationships with women across their pregnancy journey
- Four-week contract placement with flexible hours up to 80 hours per fortnight
- Work alongside an experienced midwifery team in a supportive, collaborative environment

Preferred Requirements





- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
- Demonstrated competence in cannulation and fetal surveillance education
- Experience working within a Midwifery Group Practice or caseload midwifery model
- Ability to work on-call as required by the role
- Strong communication skills and commitment to woman-centred, holistic care

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current CPR and emergency skills certification
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in continuity of care models
