Mercure Sydney Blacktown is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part Time Commis Chef to join our team of inspired hospitality professionals. You will be working mainly the breakfast shift, preparing & serving food for the hotel buffet breakfast and food prep for our all-day dining menu and Distrikt Cafe.
What You Will Be Doing /n
/n
- Full ownership and operation of the kitchen including breakfast service whilst on shift.
/n
- Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality are maintained.
/n
- Preparing, cooking and serving breakfast for the hotel buffet
/n
- Preparing food for Distrikt Cafe and our all-day dining menu
/n
- Assisting with group dinners as required
/n
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of ingredients.
/n
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and all dishes are washed at the end of each shift
/n
- Assisting the General Manager with food orders and stock management
/n
- Overseeing kitchen attendant as required
/n
