Overview /n

GP Treatment Room Nurse – Enrolled Nurse is required to join our Rousehill Centre. As a vital team member, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients are given appropriate care in collaboration with the Registered Nurses (RN).

Responsibilities /n

/n

- Assist the RN in providing high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses.

/n

- Perform care activities including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.

/n

- Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the RN.

/n

- Assist with work cover injury management and provide phlebotomy (if applicable).

/n

- Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with For Health policies and procedures.

/n

- Support with patient services, greeting and assisting patients, monitoring appointment book, register and update registration details as required.

/n

- Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, completing administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.

/n

- Provide high quality comprehensive documentation in all patient files.

/n

- Participate in workplace health and safety practices, ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported as per For Health policies.

About You /n

/n

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.

/n

- Must be available evenings and weekends.

/n

- Experience in a primary care setting, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable.

/n

- 3 years of direct clinical practice nursing care experience is desirable.

/n

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.

/n





- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

/n
