Senior leadership role with a major principal contractor, overseeing multiple large-scale civil construction projects across the NT, with a strong focus on government, defence and infrastructure projects.
This role is based in Darwin, NT. No FIFO option. The Company /n

The Role /n
Reporting directly to the senior management team you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent civil projects, including:
/n
/n
- Project program, productivity, quality/conformance and safety
/n
- Leadership, mentoring and performance of project teams
/n
- Resource planning and team integration
/n
- Development and monitoring of construction methodologies
/n
- Commercial and financial performance
/n
- Supporting Pre-Contracts with programming and methodology
/n
- Maintaining strong client/stakeholder relationships and company reputation
/n
Key Requirements /n
/n
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
/n
- 10+ years' post-graduate experience with a Principal Contractor
/n
- Proven delivery of $10M+ projects
/n
- Experience managing hard-dollar projects over $10M
/n
- Solid project and financial management, forecasting, procurement and contract management experience
/n
- Strong commercial acumen
/n
- Demonstrated ability to drive programs and achieve project objectives
/n
- Proven leadership of large project teams with a strong safety focus
/n
- Cultural awareness when working with diverse workforces and stakeholders
/n
- Australian citizen and able to obtain government security clearance
/n

Bottom Line /n
This is a senior Construction Manager position, rather than a single-project PM role. We are looking for someone with a strong Tier 1/Tier 2 principal contractor background, proven $10M+ civil project delivery, solid commercial capability, and the leadership experience to oversee projects simultaneously.
