Harbour Town Adelaide is seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our Centre Management team. This role is responsible for maintaining the presentation, functionality, and safety of the centre while delivering a high standard of service to retailers, contractors, and visitors.

About the Role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of Harbour Town Adelaide. You will undertake a variety of maintenance activities, coordinate contractors, and identify opportunities to improve the centre's presentation and operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake general maintenance and repair work across the centre
- Complete maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently
- Proactively identify and address maintenance and presentation issues
- Assist with obtaining quotes and coordinating maintenance works
- Liaise with contractors and ensure all required inductions, permits, insurances, and certifications are in place
- Undertake routine painting and presentation works
- Inspect and repair pavers and trip hazards
- Maintain Pavelock and undertake minor plumbing repairs
- Conduct roof and gutter inspections, cleaning, and accessible leak repairs




- Support preventative maintenance programs
- Assist with centre events and marketing activities when required.

About You

You are a reliable, practical, and customer-focused maintenance skilled who enjoys working in a busy team environment.

Essential Requirements

- Current Driver's Licence
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role
- Strong attention to detail and a professional approach
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to support others.

Desirable

- Experience within a retail or shopping centre environment
- WHS experience and understanding of secure work practices
- Experience coordinating and managing trades and contractors
- Skills in painting, paving repairs, plumbing, and general maintenance.
