About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care. Since opening in 1929 our hospital continues to grow to meet the changing needs of our community and incorporate new models of care.
Our 22-bed Geriatric Rehabilitation Unit, supported by a discharge lounge, is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team.
We take a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care, working closely with our nursing, medical and multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, high-quality outcomes for our patients. Our team is committed to creating a positive environment where patients feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
