Project Manager | ICT Infrastructure

Lead the delivery of complex ICT infrastructure projects across a major Australian Government environment, managing scope, budgets, risks, stakeholders and project governance. This hybrid role requires full-time onsite attendance in Canberra for the first 3 months, with at least 3 days onsite per week thereafter, subject to approval.

Location: ACT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – full time onsite in Canberra
Contract Duration: 2 November 2026 to 30 June 2027, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline
Closing Date: 10.00am, 9 October 2026

Essential Tasks

- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues and change control.
- Lead planning and delivery of ICT projects across technical teams and service providers.
- Establish project governance, reporting, documentation and communication frameworks.
- Engage stakeholders, vendors and end users while monitoring milestones and dependencies.

Key Criteria

- Extensive project management experience delivering ICT infrastructure projects.




- Strong financial management and organisational change management capability.
- Demonstrated requirements management and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Experience applying Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project management methodologies.
