Are you an experienced Practice Manager or Senior Medical Receptionist ready to take the next step in your career?

We are working with a growing healthcare organisation on the Gold Coast that is looking for a confident and organised individual to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of one of its medical practices.

This opportunity could suit an established Practice Manager or an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist who has taken on additional responsibilities and is ready to progress into a Practice Manager position.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work closely with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administration staff to ensure the practice runs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care and service.

The Role As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the medical center while supporting both the clinical and administrative teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supporting reception and administrative staff
- Managing day-to-day practice operations and workflows
- Supporting doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
- Staff rostering, onboarding and performance management
- Maintaining a high standard of patient service
- Managing practice policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Supporting accreditation and quality improvement processes
- Monitoring practice performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assisting with recruitment and staff development
- Managing patient feedback and resolving operational issues
- Working closely with senior management to achieve operational and business objectives

About You You may already be an experienced Practice Manager, or you could be a Senior Medical Receptionist who is ready to take that next step into management.
Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Practice Manager,



Senior Medical Receptionist or in a senior medical administration position
- Experience within general practice, medical centres or a similar healthcare environment
- Experience supporting or supervising reception and administration teams
- Strong communication and people skills
- Knowledge of medical practice operations and patient workflows
- Exposure to rostering, onboarding, accreditation or compliance would be highly regarded
- Confidence working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy medical environment
- A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent service

You don't necessarily need to have held the title of Practice Manager before. If you're an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist who has taken on additional responsibilities and is looking for an opportunity to progress, we would love to hear from you.
