About the Company

This is a well-established, family-owned Australian fashion retailer with around 20 stores nationally and a history spanning across a few decades.

The business has a solid focus on quality product and customer service, with its own design and manufacturing operation as well as a wholesale division supplying major department stores.

With a focus on continuing to grow its customer base, they are now looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the team and drive the day-to-day performance of the store.

About the Role

As the Store Manager, you will take ownership of the store's day-to-day operations, lead and develop the team and ensure customers receive a high level of service.

You'll be responsible for:

- Leading and coaching a small retail team
- Driving sales and delivering strong customer service
- Managing rosters, stock processing and inventory
- Overseeing online orders and general store administration
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards
- Building strong relationships with customers and developing repeat business
- Supporting and developing the team in a positive, non-KPI-driven environment

About You

We're looking for someone with strong retail leadership experience who enjoys being hands-on in a store environment.





You will ideally have:

- Previous Store Manager or strong Assistant Store Manager experience
- A background in fashion, apparel or a similar customer-focused retail environment
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Experience coaching and developing a team
- Good knowledge of rostering, stock management and store administration
- Experience with POS and retail inventory systems
- Shopify or online retail experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- A genuine ability to build relationships and create a great customer experience
- Experience with clienteling and building customer loyalty
