Your new role:

Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as an Undergraduate Student in Nursing and gain valuable experience within a supportive healthcare environment.

- Assist Registered Nurses with direct and indirect person-centred care and day-to-day unit duties.
- Develop your clinical knowledge, skills and confidence while working under the supervision and guidance of Registered Nurses.
- Contribute to safe, compassionate care by planning and prioritising tasks, completing documentation and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families and the healthcare team while contributing to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

About you:

We are looking for a nursing student who is committed to learning, teamwork and delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

- Currently undertaking or have completed the required second-year nursing studies in an NMBA-approved pre-registration program.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop your clinical knowledge and skills in mental health care.
- Communicate respectfully and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, accountability and a commitment to patient and unit goals.
