About the Opportunity

Join a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team to support the configuration, testing, and delivery of practical AI agents, automation, and enterprise AI solutions within a major Federal Government setting.

Take a hands-on role in progressing assessed use cases from proof of concept through to controlled deployment and operational handover, leveraging the latest Microsoft technologies.

What's on Offer

Contract/Engagement: Initial 12-month contract + Extensions.

Location: Canberra, ACT (Onsite)

Role & Responsibilities

Configure, build, test, and support AI agents, automations, and workflows using approved designs and Microsoft technologies, including Copilot Studio and Power Automate.

Drive technical delivery across discovery, prototyping, testing, deployment, and operational support, working under the guidance of senior technical leads.

Implement approved configurations and integrations across Microsoft services while rigorously applying established security, privacy, and governance guardrails.

Troubleshoot routine agent, workflow, access, connector, and authentication issues, escalating complex problems and risk decisions appropriately.

Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to clarify requirements, maintain comprehensive configuration documentation, and deliver agreed tasks.

Skills & Experience





To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:

Technical Toolkit: Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, specifically Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Power Automate, Azure, and Microsoft 365. Certifications or experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Monitor, or Microsoft Purview are highly advantageous.

Experience: Practical experience developing or supporting applied AI solutions, including prompt configuration, retrieval-augmented generation, content safety testing, and workflow automation in controlled environments.

Core Capabilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly, organise competing tasks, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Eligibility & Clearance Requirements

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance.
