We're currently mobilising E&I; Technicians for a major oil gas project in Brisbane, and HV Technicians for FIFO roles in WA.
E&I; Tech role at a glance
- $76 per hour plus penalties, plus superannuation
- 50 hours a week Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday work.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Instrument installation and hook-up
- IR and continuity testing
- Loop checking
- Hazardous area (Ex) inspections
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning support
- Rectification and punch listing
- Work under permit-to-work and isolation procedures
Qualifications & experience
- QLD Electrician's Licence (Preferred)
- Certificate III in Electrical – Instrumentation (Preferred)
- Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
- Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (EEHA)
- Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – current within 12 months
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid – current within 36 months
- Enter and Work in a Confined Space
- HRWL-WP High Risk Work Licence – WP (Work Platform)
- Current C-Class Driver's Licence
- Previous industrial or oil & gas experience
- Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references
HV Tech role at a glance
- $95-100 per hour casual, plus superannuation
- 12 hours per day
- 2:1 Roster
- 9 months plus work for the right candidate
Tasks & responsibilities
- HV cable installation, jointing and terminations
- HV switchgear and transformer installation
- Protection relay testing and commissioning using Omicron test equipment (CMC, CPC 100)
- Secondary injection testing
- Primary injection and CT/VT testing
- HV insulation resistance and VLF/pressure testing
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of HV systems
- Rectification and punch listing
- HV switching and isolations under permit-to-work procedures
Qualifications & experience
- EL-WA Electrician's Licence (WA)
- UEE40420 Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
- Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (EEHA)
- HV Switching and Isolation authorisation
- HV Testing competency (protection and secondary injection testing)
- Omicron test equipment experience (CMC, CPC 100)
- HV Cable Jointing and Terminations
- Perform Rescue from a Switchyard Structure / HV Rescue
- Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – current within 12 months
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid – current within 36 months
- Working at Heights
- Enter and Work in a Confined Space
- HRWL-WP High Risk Work Licence – WP (Work Platform)
- Current C-Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references
