About the role

The Glen Back Care and Sports Therapy Centre is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team in Glen Waverley, VIC. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining the opportunity to make a genuine impact on our patients' recovery and wellbeing. As a Physiotherapist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to optimise their physical performance. This role is integral to our centre's mission of providing comprehensive physiotherapy services of the highest standard to our diverse patient population. We are able to consider a full time role for the right candidate if desired.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations and rehabilitation potential

- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans utilising a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription and electrotherapy modalities

- Deliver hands-on physiotherapy treatment to patients, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as required

- Provide patient education and guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications to support long-term recovery outcomes

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with regulatory and privacy requirements

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, specialists and other allied health practitioners, to ensure coordinated patient care

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical protocols and best practice standards within the centre

What we're looking for





- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) from an accredited institution

- Current registration with AHPRA

- Demonstrated expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy

- Strong proficiency in conducting thorough patient assessments and developing evidence-based treatment plans

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

- A patient-centred approach to care with a commitment to achieving optimal rehabilitation outcomes

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Preferred experience in private practice physiotherapy

- Proficiency with clinical management software and digital record-keeping systems such as Cliniko
