Registered Nurse, Community Care Sunshine Coast - Part Time 3-4 Days a week

Healina Health is a locally owned Allied Health and Community Care provider on the Sunshine Coast. We’re a growing, clinician-led team delivering high-quality care to clients in their own homes and communities. Our primary focus is supporting older clients stay at home, we work with our own private clients as well as partnering with Support At Home providers to provide the clinical care and oversight for their clients.

We are looking for a passionate, client-focused Registered Nurse to join our growing team.

About the role

As a Community Registered Nurse, and as part of our wider clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and independence of our clients within their homes. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with clients, families, General Practitioners, Allied Health clinicians, and support staff to ensure holistic, coordinated care that aligns with each client's goals and preferences.

Key responsibilities

Provide high-quality Registered Nursing services in the community, including comprehensive client assessments, care planning, clinical interventions, documentation, and communication

Undertake and coordinate nursing interventions including wound care, medication management, chronic disease management, continence care, health monitoring, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice

Develop, implement, monitor,



and review person-centred care plans in collaboration with clients and their support networks

Organise and prioritise client caseloads in line with service needs and clinical priorities

Identify changes in client health status and initiate appropriate interventions, referrals, and escalation pathways as required

Communicate effectively with clients, families, carers, General Practitioners, and the multidisciplinary care team to support coordinated care delivery

Provide clinical guidance and support to Enrolled Nurses, Allied Health Assistants, and Support Workers where appropriate

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies

Participate in ongoing professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous service enhancement activities

Participate in the rotating weekend roster, averaging one weekend per month

About you

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse

Previous experience in community care, aged care, chronic disease management, care coordination, or a similar autonomous environment (highly regarded)

Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities

National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain one

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)





Strong clinical reasoning skills, professionalism, empathy, reliability, and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
