Sales & Client Services Assistant – Bullion & Jewellery | Casual /n

Working from our Toowoomba store, you will assist customers across a broad range of bullion, jewellery and precious metals services. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping customers buy and sell precious metals, conducting basic precious metal appraisals, processing transactions and supporting the day‑to‑day operation and presentation of the store.

This is a hands‑on role where you will receive extensive training and progressively develop specialist knowledge within the precious metals industry.

Key responsibilities /n

Welcome, engage and assist customers in person and over the phone

/n

Provide professional and knowledgeable customer service

/n

Assist customers with the purchase and sale of gold, silver and other precious metals

/n

Conduct precious metal and jewellery appraisals following training

/n

Facilitate the purchase of second‑hand gold and jewellery from customers

/n

Operate specialised testing equipment including XRF machines, scales and other precious metal testing tools

/n

Process cash, EFTPOS and other customer transactions accurately

/n

Respond to customer enquiries and provide appropriate solutions

/n

Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers

/n

Assist with stock management, merchandising and product presentation

About you /n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

/n

Previous experience in retail, sales, hospitality,



client services or a similar customer‑facing environment

/n

A confident, friendly and qualified manner

/n

A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative

/n

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

/n

The ability to learn new products, systems and processes quickly

/n

Good computer skills and confidence using modern software

/n

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

/n

Reliability, integrity and a strong work ethic
