Are you a Registered Psychologist looking for a role where you can focus on meaningful clinical work, build genuine relationships with your clients, and be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team?
Do you value having the flexibility to develop your own clinical interests while still having the support, structure and resources around you to do your job well?
We’re looking for a warm, motivated and client-focused Registered Psychologist to join the team at Your Therapy Place.
We are open to both experienced psychologists and early-career psychologists with general registration. Full-time and part-time arrangements are available.
About Us
At Your Therapy Place, we provide high-quality, client-centred allied health services to our local community.
We are a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Counsellors, Allied Health Assistants and a dedicated administration team who genuinely care about the people we work with, both our clients and each other.
Our administration team supports clinicians with client intakes, scheduling, communication and paperwork so you can spend more of your time focused on meaningful clinical work.
We value collaboration, open communication, ongoing learning and creating a positive workplace where clinicians feel supported to grow professionally while providing high-quality care to their clients.
About the Role
This is a full-time or part-time, in-clinic Registered Psychologist role based at our Rockhampton clinic.
You will work with a varied caseload, with the opportunity to shape your work around your experience, professional interests and areas of clinical interest.
We want our psychologists to have the time and support to provide thoughtful, evidence-based services without feeling like they are working in isolation.
Your day-to-day may include:
Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention within your scope of practice
Developing individualised treatment and support plans
Providing psychological therapy to clients with a range of presenting needs
Conducting assessments where appropriate to your experience and area of practice
Working collaboratively with families, carers and other relevant stakeholders
Preparing clinical documentation, progress reports and other professional reports
Liaising with other health professionals, support coordinators and external providers
Participating in peer supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration
Maintaining professional and ethical standards in line with AHPRA and relevant professional requirements
You will have the flexibility and support to develop your own clinical interests while remaining connected to a wider multidisciplinary team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Warm, approachable and client-focused
Passionate about providing high-quality psychological care
Able to build genuine therapeutic relationships with clients
Organised and comfortable managing a varied caseload
A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
Proactive and willing to take initiative
Comfortable working independently while still enjoying being part of a team
Committed to ethical, evidence-based practice
Interested in ongoing learning and professional development
Whether you are an experienced psychologist or relatively early in your career, we are looking for someone who aligns with our values and wants to be part of a supportive and collaborative workplace.
Requirements
Recognised qualification in Psychology
Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to maintaining professional development and registration requirements
What We Offer
We are proud of our culture. It is genuine, supportive and filled with people who care deeply about what they do.
When you join Your Therapy Place, you can expect:
Competitive salary plus super, negotiated based on experience
Full-time or part-time options
Relocation bonus up to $5,000
Flexible roster options, including a 9-day fortnight for eligible full time employees
Paid external supervision
A dedicated professional development budget
Weekly peer supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration
Full administrative support, including assistance with formatting letters and reports
Dedicated report writing and administration time built into your schedule
Access to a company car for client visits where required
The flexibility to develop your clinical interests and preferred areas of practice
Access to our company resource library
Regular team connection and social events
A locally owned, values-driven business where your voice matters
We want our clinicians to feel supported, valued and able to come to work knowing they have the resources and people around them to do their job well.
