Are you an Engineer with a passion for creating solutions? We are working on an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturer of innovative mobile equipment solutions for a diverse range of industries in Western Sydney

Position Overview:

As the Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the sales function with technical expertise to assist clients in the scoping and defining of technical solutions for new and modified equipment upgrades and overhauls of heavy mobile machinery projects.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical responses to customer inquiries and tender submissions across new equipment, asset life extension programs and asset management services;
- Translate complex engineering specifications and product data into technical summaries and customer reports;
- Participate in customer meetings and site visits by providing technical input and assisting in developing tailored solutions;
- Contribute to the development of proposals and asset condition assessments through providing advice on technical and commercial considerations;
- Work with internal stakeholders in building internal knowledge resources across the product range,



technical capabilities and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronic, or Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline;
- A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in a technical or operations role;
- Demonstrated experience in providing complex technical solutions, both written and verbal;
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and machine data;
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders;
- Experience with large or complex machinery in a maintenance, operational or technical sales capacity is highly regarded.
