Senior Data Developer || 9 Months Contract || $*/Day Plus Super
Location: Geelong, VIC (3 Days/Week in Office)
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer to support a major transformation program focused on modernising claims and recovery services.
You will help maintain continuity of data, reporting and analytics while uplifting data ingestion, modelling and transformation capabilities for a recent technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise for the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions.
Develop reliable data sourcing, integration and transformation pipelines.
Lead system optimisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Design secure, scalable data environments aligned with operational and product needs.
Partner with data architects, analytics teams, technology teams and business stakeholders.
Support the design, prototyping and production of trusted data and analytics assets.




Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Skills And Experience
5+ years' experience in software development, data engineering or a related field.
Advanced programming skills and experience with infrastructure as code.
Solid capability across cloud technologies and systems administration.
Proven experience in database design, data modelling and data warehousing.
Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik or SAS Visual Analytics.
Good understanding of Agile delivery methods and
CI/CD practices.
Strong stakeholder communication, prioritisation and organisational skills.
