About the role

GRC Buxton is seeking a proactive and highly organised Bid Coordinator to join our Precontracts team and coordinate the preparation and delivery of tenders, EOIs and post-tender submissions for major commercial construction projects. Working closely with our Estimating and Precontracts teams, Project Managers, consultants and senior management, you will coordinate submissions from initial document review through to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

Coordinating end-to-end tender submissions.

Reviewing tender documentation, submission requirements and evaluation criteria.

Coordinating information and responses from estimating, construction, design, commercial and management teams.

Bid writing, content development and document preparation.

Maintaining submission templates, document formatting and presentation standards.

Using AI tools to assist with drafting, editing,



reviewing and improving tender submissions.

About you

2–5 years' experience in construction tenders, bids, submissions, proposals or a similar precontracts environment.

A sound understanding of the commercial construction tender process.

Excellent written English and strong document preparation skills.

The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

Confidence coordinating information from estimators, project managers and senior management and following up when required.

Competence in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud / InDesign will be highly regarded.

Experience with BEP, LIDP and government/social procurement requirements will be highly regarded.
