- Co-ordinate scheduled bottling set down in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Chief Winemaker.
- Implement best practice procedures to ensure the integrity of the products.
- Review best practice and maintain the filtration system according to specifications.
- Implement a routine maintenance program to ensure longevity and warranty compliance of machinery.
- Review SOPs to ensure that all staff are familiar with operations.
- Review and implement QA programs.
- Liaise with Lab staff in regard to testing both current and finished wines to ensure product and line
- integrity.
- Liaise with clients in regards to scheduling and packaging requirements.
- Work in conjunction with winemakers to ensure wines are ready to be bottled according to the
- Co-ordinate with warehouse staff in regards to incoming dry goods and outgoing finished product.
- Ensure wine lines are cleaned to an industry standard.
- Investigate and implement ideas to improve efficiency of the whole bottling process.
- Maintain a safety program that complies with the Company's WHS policy.
- Monitor inventory costs and identify where possible savings can be made.
- Set up a staff roster to ensure production time is maximized.
- Ensure continual monitoring of line sanitation and able to identify and remedy key problem areas of
- microbial build up.
Tamburlaine Organic Wines is one of Australia's largest organic wine producers and we have a state of the art Italian Bottling Line. We bottle all our own wine as well as manage the contract bottling for other wineries.
You will be managing a small Bottling Line crew within the winery, coordinating with winemakers and warehouse staff and will be expected to contribute positively to the team objectives and goals.
