About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate professional to join our team as a Funeral Director. This is a full-time role with the requirement for rostered after hours work. This position would suit someone who is passionate about helping others and giving back to their community.

We are looking professional who is willing to assist in all areas of the business.

In this role you will:

Build skilled and ongoing relationships with families engaging in our services

Meet with families to assist in the preparation of funeral arrangements for their loved ones

Conduct and arrange funeral services

Assist on funeral services

Respectful transfer of the deceased into our care

Assist with the general operational,



maintenance and administration of the business premises and equipment

General administration as required

To be successful in this position, you will need the following:

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Valid QLD drivers' licence

Physically fit to fulfill the job requirements

Availability to work on a rostered after hours basis

Excellent attention to detail

Strong administration and computer skills

Honest, reliable and well presented with a compassionate and caring nature

Get appropriate vaccinations as required for your safety

Experience in the funeral industry will be highly regarded, although not a requirement. Full training and development will be provided to the right candidate.
