Our client is a leading organisation in the heavy vehicle and mechanical industry, providing quality maintenance and mechanical services. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking to step into a Workshop Leading Hand position and support a busy workshop team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading and supporting the workshop team with day-to-day mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Carrying out servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Supporting workshop planning and coordinating jobs as required.
- Assisting with welding, fabrication and hot work were required.
What You Will Need
- Mechanical Trade Qualification Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Current Trade Licence.
- Current valid HR or HC Licence.
- Previous experience in a workshop or leading hand position.
- Welding, fabrication, hot work and confined space qualifications or experience are highly regarded.

Workshop Leading Hand Mechanic
- $68.75 per hour + Penalties
- Monday Friday | 6:00am 3:00pm
- Location: Beresfield
