ExperiencewithMULTIVACthermoformingequipmentwillbehighlyregarded,particularlyforcandidateswhocandemonstrategenuinehands-onexperiencewithforming,heating,sealing,vacuum,cuttingandautomatedpackagingsystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Carryoutpreventativeandbreakdownmaintenanceacrossthermoformingandpackagingequipment
- Identifymechanicalfaultsandrestoreequipmenttoreliableoperatingcondition
- Diagnoseissuesaffectingthermoforming,sealing,heatingandvacuumsystems
- Maintainformingstations,heatingplatesandsealingstations
- Troubleshootpneumaticandcompressedairsystems
- Workwithservo-drivenmachineryandautomatedproductionequipment
- Maintainfilmfeed,tensioncontrolandpackagingsystems
- SupportvacuumpackagingandMAPequipment
- Completetoolingchangesandassistwithmachineoptimisation
- Performproductionlinechangeoversandequipmentadjustments
- Investigaterecurringmachineryfailuresandidentifyrootcauses




- Implementmaintenanceimprovementstoincreaseequipmentreliability
- Workwithproductionandengineeringteamstoreducedowntime
- Assistwithinstallation,setupandcommissioningofnewmachinery
- Respondefficientlytoproductionbreakdownsandurgentmaintenancerequirements
- Maintainaccurateandsafemaintenancepracticesinaccordancewithworkplaceprocedures

Requirements & Eligibility

- Trade-qualifiedMaintenanceFitterorMechanicalTradesperson
- Demonstratedhands-onexperienceinmanufacturing,foodprocessing,packagingorasimilarproductionenvironment
- Provenpracticalexperiencemaintainingthermoformingmachinery
- Strongunderstandingofthermoformingprocessesandequipment
- MULTIVACexperiencehighlyregarded
- ExperiencewithMULTIVACR-Seriesthermoformersadvantageous
- Knowledgeofvacuumpackagingandautomatedpackagingequipment
- Strongmechanicalfault-findingandtroubleshootingability
- Experiencewithpneumaticandhydraulicsystems
- Understandingofheating,forming,sealing,cuttingandpunchingsystems
- Abilitytoworkconfidentlywithhigh-speedproductionmachinery
- Strongpreventativemaintenanceknowledge
