Full-Time Chef - Gianni's & Briscola Italian

We're looking for an experienced Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team in a fast-paced but supportive environment where consistency, teamwork and attention to detail are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a selection of dishes across our full Italian menu including: pasta, risotto, veal, chicken and fish dishes.

- Prepare desserts and other condiments.

- Prepare ingredients and complete daily mise en place.

- Ensure quality, consistency and presentation of all pizzas during service.





- Maintain stock levels and communicate ordering requirements to senior chefs.

- Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workstation throughout each shift.

- Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties when required.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience as a commis or demi chef.

- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking and experience with pan work in a rapid paced environment.

- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

- Excellent organisation and time management skills.

- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- A reliable, positive and professional attitude.

- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
