Quality Assurance Officer – Farm & Silo OperationsA fantastic opportunity is available for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a farming operation in the Berrigan region of southern New South Wales.
This role will suit a highly organized person with strong attention to detail who enjoys working across both grain storage operations and livestock management.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring compliance and quality standards, and ensuring farm operations are properly documented and managed.Key responsibilitiesMonitor and maintain silo complex records and documentationDevelop, implement and oversee quality assurance programs within silo and in respect of livestockAssist management with compliance and biosecurity requirements across grain storage and silo operationsMaintain accurate records relating to silo management, grain handling and storageMonitor livestock management practices and maintain comprehensive animal husbandry recordsMaintain livestock health, treatment, movement and production recordsAssist with ensuring farm procedures meet relevant quality,



safety and animal welfare requirementsIdentify discrepancies or issues in records and follow up as requiredPrepare reports and documentation for managementWork closely with farm staff, contractors and management to ensure accurate record keepingAbout youHighly organized and detail-orientedConfident with record keeping and documentationReliable, practical and able to work independentlyComfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditionsComfortable working in a rural/farming environmentInterested in grain storage, livestock and agricultural operationsAble to communicate effectively with farm staff and managementCompetent with computers and standard office softwareCommitted to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and animal welfareDiploma or three years of relevant work in agriculture, grain storage, livestock management, quality assurance or similarFull-time position (40 hours per week) in the Berrigan, NSW regionA wide-ranging role combining office-based record keeping with practical farm operationsOpportunity to become an key part of a progressive farming operationStable employment and the prospect to develop agricultural and quality assurance skills
