Ozcare has permanent part-time opportunities available for Care Assistants supporting our clients within North Lakes and the surrounding region. Your Role: As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include: Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans; Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence; Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities; Assisting clients with their medication requirements; Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care.

What we’re looking for

- A warm and caring nature; willingness to go the extra mile; positive attitude towards health and wellbeing
- Availability to work mostly weekdays with occasional weekend shifts (shifts starting from 7:00am)
- PCW/AIN experience and/or prior home care or personal care experience
- Reliable and compassionate approach; valuable communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently in a client's home

About you

- Minimum - Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care)
- NDIS Workers Clearance
- Police Check with no notable offences
- Australian Workers Rights
- Minimum of 6-months' work experience
- Reliable, ability to work autonomously & understanding of scope of practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
