Umberto Espresso Bar is a very busy, beloved neighbourhood pasta bar who punches above its weight. We seek an inspired, passionate supervisor/manager to join our little family and help lead by experience and example. The successful candidate with have a real passion for customer service and all things Italian.

Casual - 30 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned hospo legend looking to step back from the intensity of full-time management, or an up-and-coming supervisor ready to take the next step and prove themselves.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and supporting the FOH team during service
- Taking an active leadership role during busy shifts
- Helping coordinate the floor and ensuring service runs smoothly
- Helping maintain high standards of service, presentation and hospitality
- Supporting team training and development





We’re looking for someone who:

- Can confidently supervise a team during busy, high-pressure services
- Is calm, organised and solutions-focused when things don’t go to plan
- Can give clear direction while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment
- Has strong communication skills and leads by example
- Has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating a great guest experience
- Has an interest in Italian food, wine and hospitality

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is mature and enjoys leading a team and wants to play an active part in making outstanding services happen.
