About the Role:
To support the continued growth of the business, we are seeking an experienced P&C; Manager to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team. This is a broad and hands-on opportunity for a commercially minded P&C; professional to have a genuine impact across people, culture and day-to-day business operations within a growing, mid-sized environment.
The role is based in Rhodes, NSW, with the business relocating to Macquarie Park next year.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Partnering with the CEO and leadership team to identify people priorities and deliver practical solutions that support the business.
- Leading the day-to-day P&C; function, ensuring people practices, policies and processes are effectively managed across the business.
- Managing employee matters throughout the employee lifecycle, including performance, engagement,
development and workplace relations.
- Driving recruitment activity across the business, from identifying hiring needs through to attracting and securing the right talent.
- Coordinating office and administrative operations, keeping key business activities organised and running efficiently.
- Delivering key people and business initiatives that strengthen the organisation and support its continued growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ P&C;/HR experience, with a broad understanding of people practices and the ability to operate across different areas of the function.
- Relevant industry experience, ideally gained in a practical, operational or commercially focused business environment.
- Strong commercial and practical mindset, with the ability to balance people priorities with the needs of the wider business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with people at all levels and handle sensitive matters with maturity and discretion.
- Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to take ownership, work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
