About the role
Great Councils run on great people, and our people do their best work when they feel safe, supported and heard. As our Senior Manager People & Safety, you'll lead the team that makes that happen.
You'll be the trusted link between the Executive Leadership Team, Managers, staff and our external partners. You'll shape and deliver our people, culture and WHS strategies, give sound advice on employment and safety law, and make sure what we do on paper works in practice. It's a role with real influence and a high level of autonomy, at a time when Council is focused on building capability and improving how we work.
