Casual Talent Interviewer Approx. 2–4 days per week | 9:30am–6pm | South Melbourne + Remote

We’re looking for a confident, energetic people-person to join our team on a casual basis, usually around 3 days per week (give or take depending on how busy we are). If you love talking to people, enjoy a fast-paced environment, are comfortable working from a laptop and like being rewarded for good performance — keep reading. Standard hours are 9:30am–6pm, although exact days can be flexible. Saturday availability is a big plus. Full training is provided. Your initial training will be onsite at our South Melbourne office, then you’ll have the flexibility to work from the studio or remotely.

Bubblegum Casting & Hunter Talent are Australian talent agencies representing kids, teens and adults across TV, film, fashion and advertising. We also run professional photoshoots, industry training and development programs through POP! Photography and our learning academy. We’re a small, vibrant team. Things move quickly, there’s always plenty happening, and we operate with a bit of a start-up mentality. We receive a high volume of enquiries from people wanting to get into acting and modelling. Your job is to interview them, identify the right talent for our agencies and help successful applicants get properly onboarded.

The Role

As a Talent Interviewer, you’ll be one of the first real people our talent and parents speak with.

- Run online interviews with parents and kids
- Explain how the modelling and acting industry works — no fluff or false promises




- Assess applicants using our suitability criteria and interview process
- Present our onboarding programs and enrol successful applicants
- Help with contracts, payments and handover to our agents and delivery teams
- Make calls and send emails to keep applicants moving through the process
- Keep notes and statuses updated in our CRM
- Work towards clear individual and team targets

Your interviews are already booked for you — your job is to show up prepared, build rapport, educate the applicant and close the right people. It’s a mix of sales, customer success and talent interviewing.

Who We’re Looking For

- A confident communicator who enjoys phone calls and video meetings
- Comfortable talking with both adults and kids
- Experienced in sales, hospitality, retail, customer service or call centres
- Competitive and motivated by targets
- Organised and able to juggle multiple conversations, bookings and tasks
- Positive, enthusiastic and positive with people
- A fast learner who takes initiative
- Comfortable handling objections and hearing “no” without taking it personally
- Keen to learn current skills and improve your results
