In Years 11 and 12, students can pursue either the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This choice creates opportunities for teachers to contribute to a rich and varied Senior School curriculum. IBDP experience is not required for this role, and we support teachers who are interested in developing their practice across both pathways.
The Role
This is a permanent, full-time position , commencing on 18 January 2027. You will teach Mathematics to engaged students across the Senior School, helping them build confidence, think critically and develop a lasting appreciation for the subject.
We’re looking for a Mathematics teacher who:
Has experience teaching Mathematics across Years 7 - 12, and a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabuses.
Inspires girls to approach Mathematics with curiosity, confidence and persistence.
Adapts their teaching to support students at different levels and extend those ready for greater challenge.
Builds positive relationships and creates an inclusive classroom where students feel confident asking questions and tackling unfamiliar problems.
Collaborate with colleagues, reflect on their practice and contribute fresh ideas to Mathematics teaching.
Hold current Queensland College of Teacher registration and relevant tertiary qualifications.

Employment Classification
The salary and conditions of employment for Academic staff are in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) Enterprise Agreement 2025, as varied or replaced from time-to-time.
