About SIRAP

SIRAP is an award-winning film-led content studio creating premium films and content for brands across property, design, lifestyle, and culture. With a reputation for craft, storytelling, and exceptional client service, we partner with leading organisations to bring powerful ideas to life on screen. We are a close-knit team who value creativity, precision, and collaboration. Every project we take on is treated with care, intention, and ambition to deliver best-in-class work.

About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor to join us on a contract basis, 3–4 days per week, for an initial 2–3 months, with a review at the end of that period and the opportunity to move into an ongoing role. Based out of our South Yarra studio, you'll be cutting across our real estate and lifestyle content — from architecture and property films through to property brand and social content — working closely with our producers and creative team to turn raw footage around quickly without compromising on craft.

Key Responsibilities

- Editing architecture and property films for real estate clients, from walkthroughs to hero brand pieces
- Cutting a range of content types — interviews, brand films, event coverage, and short-form social media reels
- Operate fluently in Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics, titling and light compositing.
- Working to fast turnaround times across multiple projects in parallel
- Color grading footage in Adobe Premiere Pro to a consistent, polished standard
- Applying basic motion graphics and titling to lift finished cuts
- Champion the integration of AI tools and techniques into editing and broader production workflows — from transcription and rough assembly to audio cleanup, image and video generation. Hold a considered view on where these tools belong and where they do not.
- Taking feedback from producers and clients and turning around revisions quickly and accurately
- Managing footage, project files,

and deliverables through our production workflow (ClickUp, Frame.io)

Creative Contribution

- Collaborate with producers, cinematographer and editors to bring creative ideas to life on screen.
- Help maintain the visual benchmark for SIRAP's output
- Contribute to creative brainstorms across the studio, inspiring considered approaches to story and image.

Delivery & Standards

- Quality-control your own work ensuring creative integrity and brand alignment, with producer oversight
- Manage your time and workload across multiple projects, hitting schedules and milestones reliably.
- Resolve technical and creative challenges quickly and calmly, keeping projects on track under pressure.
- Maintain a working knowledge of SIRAP's edit infrastructure and storage systems
- Act as a part of the team within the studio, bringing positivity, accountability, and collaborative energy.
- Support the continuous development of SIRAP's brand reputation by championing best-in-class work.
- Contribute ideas beyond your own projects, supporting colleagues in delivering excellent outcomes.

About You

- Minimum 3 years' experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proven experience editing architecture and/or property content
- Ideally, experience working across lifestyle brands and a range of content formats, from long-form interviews to social media reels
- Solid understanding of color grading in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Basic motion graphics skills (Premiere Pro and/or After Effects)
- Working knowledge of AI platforms for editing (e.g. AI-assisted transcription, rough-cut, or upscaling tools)
- A strong eye for pace, story, and polish under real deadline pressure
- Ability to work quickly, prioritise across multiple jobs, and take feedback well and fast
- Strong organisational skills and reliable file/project management
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with producers and directors

Details

- Contract: 2–3 months, with review and chance for ongoing employment
