CHILDRENSWEAR TEXTILE & GRAPHIC DESIGNER, (NOT BRANDING OR MARKETING)

This is NOT a marketing graphic design role. This role focuses on textiles & garment graphics, NOT branding/ web or packaging.

Home to the much-loved labels Bébé by Minihaha, Fox & Finch, and Minihaha Swim, we’re a boutique Australian childrenswear company known for our playful spirit, thoughtful design, and beautifully made collections for little people.

As our world continues to grow, we’re expanding our creative team and are on the hunt for a Garment Textile/ Garment Graphic Designer who’s bursting with imagination, colour confidence, and a genuine love for childrenswear.

You’ll be joining a close-knit, friendly design team where ideas are shared, creativity is celebrated, and no two days are ever quite the same. Working closely with our Designers, you’ll help bring whimsical prints, joyful graphics, and beautifully detailed garments to life — pieces designed to delight kids (and parents!) across Australia and New Zealand.

Days negotiable for the right candidate | Full or Part Time | In-house

We’re seeking a talented Textile / Garment Graphic Designer to join our growing team in-house (with flexible days for the right person).

What you’ll be doing:

- Designing textile prints, graphics and placement artwork for baby and children’s apparel
- Interpreting and executing design briefs accurately — including repeats, placements, screen prints, embroideries and embellishments
- Creating production-ready artwork and preparing clear feedback for offshore suppliers




- Collaborating closely with Designers to bring collections to life through beautiful art

About You

You’re a creative at heart — the kind who notices beautiful colour combinations, gets excited about print stories, and believes childrenswear should feel joyful, thoughtful and a little bit magical.

You love bringing ideas to life, whether that’s sketching by hand, refining artwork on screen, or perfecting the smallest details before production. You’re organised (but not rigid), rapid on your feet, and happy juggling multiple projects in a busy studio environment.

You enjoy collaborating with others, sharing ideas, and being part of a close-knit creative team — but you’re just as confident working independently and owning your work from concept through to completion.

Most importantly, you genuinely love childrenswear and creating designs that spark imagination, feel special, and make little people (and parents) smile.

What You’ll Bring

- A qualification in Textile Design, with a strong focus on childrenswear, textile print and/or embroidery
- Proven experience designing prints, placements and embellishments for apparel (childrenswear experience highly regarded)
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (InDesign a bonus)
- The ability to accurately interpret design briefs and translate them into production-ready artwork
- Confidence preparing files, artwork feedback and clear communication for offshore suppliers
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- An excellent eye for colour, scale, detail and composition
- A portfolio that showcases your print, illustration and textile design work
