Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) invites applications for the 2027 Current Lawyers Program, a structured two‑year pathway designed to accelerate your career while making a real difference for Victorians. You’ll rotate across three placements, gaining hands-on experience in criminal, family, civil justice, and access to justice work, with support from senior lawyers.

The program ends with a transition into an ongoing lawyer role within VLA, offering a meaningful, purpose‑driven legal career and opportunities
